Effective date: August 6, 2026 · Published by Skailine

Welcome to InkFlo (the "Service"). The Service includes this website and the InkFlo handwritten note app provided by Skailine ("we," "us"). Please read these Terms of Use (the "Terms") carefully before using the Service. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Important: InkFlo is currently in development, and features and interface may change. Please back up your important notes regularly.

This English version is provided for convenience. If there is any inconsistency, the Traditional Chinese version prevails.

1. Description of the Service

InkFlo is a handwritten note app built for Apple Pencil, which keeps a git-style version history of your notes. Some features (such as handwriting search) are still planned. The features and platforms actually offered will be those in our official release.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must have the legal capacity to use the Service. Persons under 20 years old should use the Service with the consent of a legal guardian. You are responsible for providing accurate information and for the security of your devices and related accounts, such as iCloud, Google, or Git remotes.

3. Intellectual Property

Our rights. The software, design, trademarks, logos, and text content of this website and the InkFlo app belong to Skailine or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark laws. Without written consent, you may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or otherwise use them, except as permitted by law.

Your content. The notes, handwriting, imported PDFs and images, and other content you create in InkFlo ("User Content") belong to you. Providing the Service does not give us ownership of your User Content. We will not use your User Content except as necessary to provide and maintain the Service, or as required by law.

Third-party trademarks. Apple, Apple Pencil, iPad, iPhone, and Mac are trademarks of Apple Inc. GoodNotes is a trademark of its owner. Claude, Gemini, and other AI service names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners. InkFlo is not affiliated with or endorsed by these companies. References are made only to describe compatible file sources, platforms, or optional services.

4. Acceptable Use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

5. Backups and Data Loss

InkFlo stores data primarily on your device, and we do not host your note content. You are therefore responsible for backing up your important data. We are not liable for data loss caused by device damage, loss, accidental deletion, sync conflicts, failures of third-party backup services, or other causes outside our reasonable control.

6. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service may link to or integrate with third-party services, such as iCloud, Google Drive, Git remotes, AI services such as Claude and Gemini, and third-party projects on GitHub (such as parser-for-goodnotes). These services are provided by their respective providers, and their own terms and privacy policies apply. When you use "Box it, ask AI," you agree to the terms of the AI service you choose and are responsible for the lawfulness of the content you send. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or conduct of third-party services.

7. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no express or implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you actually paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose; if you paid nothing, the limit is NT$1,000. Liability that cannot be excluded or limited under mandatory law is not affected.

9. Changes and Termination

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time, and we will give reasonable advance notice where practical. If you violate these Terms, we may suspend or terminate your use of the Service. After termination, Sections 1, 3, 7, 8, and 10 remain in effect.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan). Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the Taiwan Taipei District Court as the court of first instance, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
